I'm sorry this has nothing to do with art but I need peoples opinoin.
I'm Chritian, I don't support their beleifs at all it is forced upon me by my parents, but thats not the point. I was at ccd which is like church school and this year we learn all about the veiws on sexuality. Tonight we were having a vivid discussion about the veiws on homosexuality and I was appaled.
The church sees pre-merital sex as a sin, which I can comprehend. Then the teacher went on to say the church only supports "love" whitch is described as life-suplying. (having children) When we brought up homosexuality he then went to say that the act of being gay isn't a sin but the act of being in a homosexual relationship is because it is not life-supplying.
My class argued that some women cannot have children, but that is not a sin. He had no responce to that. Then he went on to argue that in a homosexual relationship they cannot get married by the church so any sex they have is a sin. But if the church doesn't give them a chance to get married how can they life the life of God? He responded with, they can't. If God loves all people then why does he discriminate agenst love of two people?
